Van Gogh

This vibrant piece is rendered in an abstract expressionist style featuring overlapping stylized portraits, bold outlines, and a rich color palette. In the bottom corners, it incorporates symbolic imagery, including a signature-style caricature of Vincent van Gogh himself alongside a goose and patterned shoes. The thematic focus of the piece explores the lifetime of Van Gogh during his travels between the Netherlands and France, specifically highlighting the heavy influences of Japanese woodblock prints and art culture on his historic stylistic evolution.
